Abhishek Bachchan has revealed he misses his wife Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan’s attention after the couple had their baby daughter in November 2011.
“Ash’s day starts and ends with the baby. Since she insists on doing everything for Aaradhya, including giving her a massage, bathing her and attending to her round-the-clock, I’m now waiting in [a] queue for Ash’s attention.
“Aaradhya wakes up in the night for her feed and a nappy change. Ash, who’s completely clued in, is up in a jiffy. However, I must confess, it took time for me to get used to the new routine.
“When the baby cried, I woke up too, but couldn’t go back to sleep immediately. So Ash suggested that I sleep in another room till such time as Aaradhya was slightly older.”
Aishwarya will be at Cannes this month with baby Aaradhya.

Aishwarya Rai will be attending this year’s Cannes Film Festival and this time she will will travel to Cannes with her six-month-old daughter and is expected to play a significant role at the event.
A source told Bollywood Mantra: “Yes, Aishwarya will be going to Cannes this year. We can’t confirm about Abhishek yet, but Aishwarya won’t travel without Aaradhya for sure.”
Bipasha Basu is also expected to attend the film festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have named their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
It had been speculated that the Bachchans were looking for a name beginning with the letter ‘A’.
The announcement was made 118 days after the birth of their daughter, who had previously been known in the media by the nickname ‘Beti B’.

Aishwarya Rai is said to be taking an extended break from Bollywood.
“There’s no denying that there are several offers and filmmakers have been trying to get her to at least read their scripts, but of what we know, she’s not looking at starting any film till her daughter doesn’t turn one at least,” a source revealed.
The star’s main focus is her still-to-be-named 4-month-old baby, sources say.
“She’s a completely hands-on mum and her only focus at the moment is her daughter. It’s unlikely that she’ll take up films right away, though she may continue with her endorsements as they require fewer hours of shooting,” the insider added.

Oprah Winfrey chose to go truly Indian on her maiden India visit as she draped an orange and golden sari as she went to meet Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai and her newborn, nicknamed Beti B, Amitabh Bachchan & Abhishek Bachchan last night.
The media mogul is in India to shoot for her new show “Next Chapter”, which will see Winfrey travelling around the world and interviewing celebrities.

Abhishek Bachchan has revealed that his daughter resembles his wife Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan.
Bachchan told DNA India: “Thankfully she resembles her mother, but I have been told by the veterans that children’s face changes over time. I think it sounds better she looks like her mother.
“No matter how good is your vocabulary, you can never get [proper] words of what you feel when you see the child… It is wonderful.”
He added that the month-old baby, which is his first, has not yet been named by her family.

Abhishek Bachchan has said that he is struggling to decide on a name for his daughter.
“The suggestions still pour in and still we haven’t managed to finalise a name,” he tweeted. “Evenings are spent reading out all your suggestions in front of the family and trying to decide. Will decide soon. Many thanks again. Lots of love.” he added.
Big B went on to speak about spending time with his granddaughter too!
“She sleeps through most of the day except for feeds and has been most obedient and well behaved!” he said.
“The moments spent with her even though one encounters shut eyes, are the most pleasant and fulfilling, but what after. I think there is an indication here to take up vocations that one has always wanted to pursue – that music lesson, language… reading to catch up… and on.” he added.

It’s been reported that Aishwarya Rai & Abhishek Bachchan will hold a ‘naming’ ceremony around Christmas with close friends and family as the couple reveal the name of their new baby girl!
Reportedly, the caterer has already been finalised and the menu will include only vegetarian dishes with a smattering of South Indian offerings as well.
Apparently, everyone in the family is coming up with a set of names each and then, we’re guessing, that whatever is the most popular and agreed upon will be the chosen name! Ash constantly says: that the ‘Bachchan household is a very democratic one’ and this seems to be the case!

Amitabh Bachchan has denied stories that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a caesarean section, saying Aishwarya had a normal delivery – without epidural or painkillers.
He tweeted: “The often coined phrase ‘too posh to push’ was put to rest in her case. She was determined to do it the way she felt was correct!”

Abhishek Bachchan has spoken about being a parent and understanding what it’s like being a father!
He also spoke about how Aishwarya Rai is coping much better with the early mornings, describing her as a ‘super trooper’ ‘bionic’ mother!
Abhishek tweeted the following message on his twitter page:
“How do women/mothers do it? I’m walking around like a zombie and the Mrs. Is like a super trooper with a bit of bionic woman thrown in!!!
Just as I step into fatherhood and parenthood, I’ve never seen myself rely and depend on my parents more. Guess that happens with every new Parent. And I finally understand why they still at the age of 35 treat me like a baby and cannot accept that I’m a grown man today.
Much like my father @SrBachchan I too spent the day observing every little thing about the little one. But my greatest observation I don’t think I’ll be any different.”
