The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran has revealed he was approached to appear in a new Bollywood film!
“It was so funny. He approached me and gave me this long speech about making me a star over there and that they wanted me to be the lead in the film,” Kaneswaran is quoted by The Sun as saying.
“He said he wanted the other lads too, but only as pretend group members in the background in a few scenes.”
Siva insisted that his fellow band members didn’t take offence to the offer, commenting: “They saw the funny side.”

Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar star in gay Bollywood movie ‘Dunno Y… Na Jaane Kyun’ which is set to screen in Greece.
The project, which shows India’s first gay kiss in a commercial Hindi film, has been selected for the Outview Film Festival.
Parashar told Digital Spy: “In the ’50s and ’60s Bollywood films were very popular in Greece. But after that there was a lull. After a gap of many decades, with Dunno Y…, again a Bollywood film is getting screened there.”
“It was also Bollywood’s first film to screen at Tel Aviv after Shah Rukh Khan’s Devdas,” added Parashar.
Freida Pinto is reportedly planning steps to make an impact in Bollywood after having meetings with top Bollywood directors on potential new movie roles.
“Freida invited filmmakers she would be comfortable working with. She played the perfect host. The message was clear, Bollywood is her next stop,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Her spokesperson confirmed: “She’s open to offers from every part of the world including Bollywood. She wants to be a part of world cinema.”
Established directors including Vishal Bhardwaj, Abbas Tyrewala and Anubhav Sinha also attended Pinto’s dinner party, according to the source.

Bollywood at set to have a walkway in Mumbai inspired by Los Angeles’s Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Handprints from Indian cinema stars will be cast into the promenade at Bandra Bandstand, close to Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment residences.
“We’re glad that even the residents’ associations in the area agreed to let us proceed with our plan. They are happy that the locality will become a hotter tourist spot in the city thanks to iconic Bollywood bungalows such as Mannat,” said Nikhil Gandhi, business head of UTV Stars.
The channel is reportedly in talks with veteran stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and others to use their handprints.
“We’re still finalising our list of actors because we plan to keep the list limited for now and add more with time,” added Gandhi.
