Preeya Kalidas is set to return to Eastenders in the well-known role of ‘Amira Shah’ who was caught up in the Gay Muslim storyline alongside Marc Elliot who plays Syed Masood.
Preeya confirmed the news on her twitter account this morning

Preeya left Eastenders to pursue a music career with her debut record ‘Shimmy’ which charted at No. 85 in the UK
