Tasmin Khan has become the latest Daybreak casualty after being axed from the show.
She follows in the footsteps of Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley, who were fired before Christmas.
A source told The Mirror: ‘Her contract was up for renewal but she was part of the old show which struggled, so she had to go.’
‘I’ve had a fabulous time at Daybreak. Now I’ve got exciting meetings planned in the States’ Tasmin said.
‘I’ve had a fabulous time at @Daybreak. I look fwd (sic) to watching it flourish & leave it in the hands of a great team. Now I just need to SLEEP!’ Tasmin also tweeted.
